I got a couple of new stamp sets this week called 'Motorcycle' and 'Extreme Elements'. I've been having a play with them and this is what I came up with. CASED of course from Splitcoasters Gallery!

This card is a Cherry Cobbler colour version of Leonies 'Motorcycle' card I made last week, I've perfected the motion effect, but need to work on my burst out technique a bit more!

This next card was made using the 'Extreme Elements' stamp set. I find it very versatile for use with male or female cards, teenagers etc. I'll have to try making more cards with this one!

Demonstrators Shoebox Swap

I have had a wonderful day stamping today with a few of my team members.
We get together every once in a while for a team catch up day and today it was at my house, yay! We each produce a card and cut out enough supplies for everyone else to make your card.
I always learn something new and discover many new ideas and techniques!

These are the cards that I produced, thanks to a demonstration on Youtube by Stamperdog. They are Christmas card gift voucher holders. You could change the design for birthdays.

This next card was produced by Leonie and is called the 'Burst Out' I love this technique, simple but stunning.

This next one is by Adele. The rectangular image around the sentiment is made by inking up an acrylic block in one colour and rock n rolling it in another. I didn't know you could do that!

This next one is another fab idea for a gift voucher holder by Kylie.

Amanda and I had fun with this next card by Yvonne. We couldn't figure out whether to emboss then cut or cut then emboss the topnote shape.  It turned out both ways were wrong because we forgot to stamp the image first lol, lol, lol!

I was stunned by this next card by Alison. The circle shapes were stuck to ordinary card stock and then put through the textured impressions embossing folder. The result looks like DSP. Very effective.

The last card I made was by Amanda. I really enjoyed getting to know more about Amanda today. She showed me how to ruffle the ribbon by pulling on a thread in the ribbon, this gives a really beautiful effect, don't you think?

All the cards today were (as always) absolutely outstanding. Thanks so much for a really enjoyable day.
Thanks to Leonie for turning up with a migraine.
Thanks to Adele for my lovely English goodies yum yum!
Thanks to Rob my neighbour for letting me borrow his tables and chairs!
Have a great day!

Callum's Journal

This is a cover I made for Callum's Journal (Not Diary lol) He just loves Diary of a Wimpy Kid so much that he wanted his own journal. We couldn't find any thing suitable in the shops, so I bought him a notebook and made this cover for it. I used the 'Lots of Bots' stamp set from Stampin' Up! and Designer Series Paper 'Celebration's.' I tied some Pacific Point ribbon around it for privacy!
He loves it and writes in it most nights!

Happy Birthday!

I made this card for my sons' friend Matt, who just loves to play and watch soccer. I made it in his favourite team, Aston Villa's colours. What do you think? I used Stampin' Up! stamp set "Just Soccer" in Rich Razzleberry and Bashful Blue.

Happy Anniversary!

It's my 11th Wedding Anniversary next week and I thought I would make a Gold and Cream card for my husband to match our wedding colour scheme.

I CASED this card from the very talented Teneale Williams, thankyou for the inspiration!

I just adore this stamp set called 'Bliss' from the recent 'Sale-A-Bration' promotion.
I used Baja Breeze, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake ink pads and Designer Series Paper (DSP) 'Elegant Soiree'
I added some 'Victoria Crochet Trim' and 'Basic Pearls to embellish.

My first Blog!

Hi, welcome to my first blog!

This is all new to me, so please forgive me as I will learn as I go along.

I have been working on a couple of Holy Communion cards for a friend of mine.
I used 'Special Blessings' stamp set from Stampin' Up!
